How to send text by fax?

Send text by fax without an existing document

It's not yet possible to only send text by fax directly in Genius Fax. You will need to use a third party to convert your text into a PDF file.

iOS

1. Open the Notes app, create a new note and type the text you'd like to send.
2. Tap the Share button at the top right and choose Print. 
3. Ignore the Print settings and simply Pinch and Zoom in a page. 
4. This will open the PDF document full page, tap the Share button again and choose Genius Fax in the list of apps.

Android

1. Install the Google Docs app
2. Create a new doc and type some text. 
3. In the menu, choose Export and Share > Send a copy > PDF > Genius Fax.

Send text in addition to a document

You can add a free cover page to your fax and add a text note to this cover page.

Simply create a new fax, add a document using the document picker and toggle the Cover Page switch. Enter any text in the Note field.
